Terms & Conditions

1. Services

Shine Works Mobile Detailing provides mobile vehicle cleaning and detailing services at the customer’s chosen location within North / South Lanarkshire and surrounding areas.

All services are performed to a professional standard, but results may vary depending on the condition of the vehicle.

2. Bookings & Payments

All bookings must be made in advance via our website, phone, or email.

No deposit is required at the time of booking.

Payment is due in full upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed.

We accept : cash, bank transfer, card.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Customers may cancel or reschedule in line with our existing Cancellation Policy

4. Customer Responsibilities

The customer must ensure the vehicle is accessible at the agreed location and time.

If access is not possible, services may be refused, and a call-out fee may apply.

Customers must remove personal belongings and valuables before the service.

Shine Works Mobile Detailing accepts no liability for loss or damage to items left in the vehicle.

5. Service Limitations & Extra Charges

Services may be affected or rescheduled due to adverse weather or unsafe working conditions.

We reserve the right to refuse service if the working environment is unsafe, unsanitary, or unsuitable.

Additional charges may apply for:

Excessively dirty vehicles

Pet hair removal

Hazardous materials (e.g., vomit, urine, blood, or other bodily fluids)

Mould or mildew treatment — This will always incur an extra charge because mould is considered a biohazard. Handling and removing mould requires specialist chemicals, protective equipment, and additional labour time to ensure the vehicle is safe and clean.

6. Liability

Shine Works Mobile Detailing will take all reasonable care when working on your vehicle. However, we are not liable for:

Pre-existing damage, defects, or issues with the vehicle (including paintwork, upholstery, or mechanical faults).

Loss or damage to personal items or valuables left inside the vehicle.

Electrical or mechanical faults arising during or after service, including those related to existing wiring, battery, or electronic systems.

Indirect or consequential losses, including missed appointments, loss of income, or inconvenience.

Accidents, damage, or loss caused by third parties while your vehicle is being serviced (e.g., another driver hitting your vehicle).

If damage is directly caused by Shine Works Mobile Detailing during the service, we will take responsibility and seek to resolve the matter fairly.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

We only collect customer information necessary for booking, communication, and payment.

Personal data will never be sold, shared, or disclosed to third parties unless required by law.

By using our services, you consent to us contacting you regarding your booking.

8. Changes to Terms

Shine Works Mobile Detailing reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
